and God Bless America have in common?
After Kate Smith made
"God Bless America" popular in 1938, Irving Berlin signed over the money to
the Boy Scouts and the Girl Scouts.

OPENING

Scout 1 -
comes to front of room and gets the microphone from the Cub Master.

GUARD ADVANCE"
- When the flags are almost to the front of the room:
- Scout 1.
"COLOR GUARD HALT"
- Scout 1. "PREPARE
TO POST THE COLORS"
- US Flag Color Guard crosses the front of room as shown
in diagram, then the Pack Flag.
- Scout 1. "POST THE
COLORS"
- Scout 1. "PLEASE
JOIN ME IN THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE"
I Pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the
Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty
and justice for all.
- Scout 1.
"TWO" [All scouts end salute.]

- Scout 1. "COLOR GUARD RETREAT"
CLOSING

Scout 1 -

holders. See diagram.
